Good Faith Estimate
Beginning January 1, 2022, heath care providers, including psychologists, are required by law to give uninsured and self-pay patients a good faith estimate for their services. If you are not using insurance to cover your care, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of your treatment. The Good Faith Estimate will be available as a written document, orally when the services are scheduled, and/or in a format that is accessible to the patient (i.e., in the language spoken by the patient).
For more information regarding the Good Faith Estimate please visit www.cms.gov/no surprises or call CMS at 1-800-985-3059
